The Kariba is a family run guesthouse 15 minutes walk to the city centre, conference centre and castle. There is also a good bus route which stops directly opposite the guesthouse. Breakfast is buffet style with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, ground coffee, a selection of tea and a choice of cooked breakfast. The staff at Kariba guesthouse will be happy to help you during your stay by booking bus trips and providing information about Edinburgh, they will do everything to make your visit a memorable one. Parking for 6 cars is available to the guests.

All rooms are bright and comfortable 1 room not ensuite has its own private bathroom. In rooms facilities include: Colour TV, Tea-coffee making facilities, hairdryers.

Location
The Kariba is 1 km to city centre about a 15 minute walk or 10 minutes bus ride. The bus stops directly opposite the guesthouse. The area is a quiet residential area near the canal with many pubs and restaurants and well served by public transports. Only off street parking in evening after 6pm and weekends.
Prices for B&B accommodation
Price rates vary in the following range according to season, weekend and particular event held (concert, rugby match...).
We grant that price will never be higher than the maximum price reported:
Sharing: 45 GBP min. - 65 GBP max - Rate per person per night
Single: 50 GBP min. - 70 GBP max - Rate per single occupancy
Prices are per person per night, bed and breakfast accommodation, taxes included.
Cancellation policy: Kariba requires at least a 10 days notice before date of arrival to cancel a reservation. If a reservation is cancelled or modified within 10 days before date of arrival, Kariba Guesthouse will charge the first night stay
Special Booking conditions for this Guest House: Kariba requires a deposit of first night stay. To reserve a room credit card details with name, telephone number and 3 digits secure code are required.
